Add Attachment via Auto Task

Is there a way to add in an attachment while running an AutoTask? Such as the 'Add Attachment ...' button at the bottom on tickets. Reason: We do a handful of monthly tickets to which the same progress log is attached.

Using 8.4.1, ATG and BPAM.

Would ATG not offer anything in the way of file attachment capabilities?

tavatpcu1 - where are your attachments coming from before they are added to HEAT tickets?

Thank you for your questions. Here are my answers.

prbaxter - ATG is in use. But not for these paricular auto tasks. The tickets are created under a generic name. Not a real person with a real email address. Something like an equipment type. The auto tasks create similar tickets to different groups with 3 to 7 assignments each.

araffalski - This particular attachment is on our shared network drive. It is the same place used by ATG attachments. I just copy an existing log template each month and rename it to the current month.

The process is to create the new log each month. Manually is OK. But the goal is to have the auto task prompt for the path to the log on the shared network drive. I would just have to paste in (or browse to) the path each time it is run.

I would like an AT that adds attachments to calls with preset values for the Description and File Name fields.

Any ideas?
